Shantell M. Kirkendoll is the senior communication representative for Michigan Medicine. She leverages social media and media relations to tell compelling stories about research and health care. She was a Knight Journalism Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and joined the University of Michigan Health System in 2009. Prior to that she was a print journalist for 20 years.
Kyle Franko is a marketing communications specialist at Eversight, a nonprofit organization with the mission to restore sight and prevent blindness. His current role focuses on creating innovative and compelling content for those interested in corneal transplantation and eye-health related topics. He holds bachelor’s degrees from Montana State University.
