Susan M. Maixner, M.D., is an associate professor of psychiatry in the University of Michigan School of Medicine; director of the U-M Geropsychiatry Program and the Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship; and a member of the UMHS Program for Positive Aging. Her clinical interests are in the behavioral and psychological symptoms in dementia (BPSD), palliative medicine, and geriatric mental and cognitive health education.
